Lisa Jenks is no longer manufacturing jewelry. After 20 years we are taking a break and doing other stuff. Now come on, you understand... everyone wants a change and chance to stretch in different ways. (Are you still doing the same thing you were doing 20 years ago?)
Lisa is currently designing in all sorts of other catagories as you can see all over the website. If you love Lisa's work, hopefully you can find her newest designs in flatware or dinnerware or linens or home decor in a store near you. (And if you can't, call your favorite store and find out why they don't carry Lisa's work!)
Don't you have any jewelry left to sell?
Sorry we don't. We sold all our stock and extra pieces over the past two years and
now the cupboard is bare. If you have some of Lisa's pieces the we like to think
you have collectors items a slice of design history. All the jewelry styles from
1987-2007 are retired and we no longer can make them. The models are in our archives.
We have donated any extra bits we had left over to young designers fresh out of
school.
Can't you just make me one piece for my "wedding/anniversary/
birthday"?
Nope. We do not have jewelers, parts, stones, castings all the the parts to make
jewelry are no longer part of our company. Truly!
Will you ever get back into designing jewelry?
Sure. In fact we all ready are but in a different way. Lisa has a license with QVC
for sterling silver jewelry pieces about two or three styles a couple of times a
year. These "mini collections" will only be available for sale thru QVC either on
air with Lisa or thru their website. If you cannot find Lisa online, we may be between
mini collections. Email QVC customer service to ask where and when to find her jewelry.
Last but not least, thank you. If you are reading this, then you were/are/have been a loyal collector and we truly appreciate you. We hope you continue to value your pieces and we wish you happy times wearing them!
General Instruction for repairing Lisa Jenks Limited (LJL) jewelry:
Many repairs can be repaired by your local jeweler. The main difference with the LJL jewelry finish is the oxidation (black area) and the low luster finish. Your local jeweler can re-oxidize the sterling silver jewelry using a silver oxidizer.
(You can find one type here)

The oxider is applied to the surface of the piece and than polished off the raised surfaces, keeping the black finish in the recessed area.
To acheive the low luster finish, we used 3M polishing wheel on a polishing motor, low speed.
